Frozen Eggs? You betcha!

It's easy and simple enough. And I like simple! A lot!!
I am so excited to share this with all of you.
By adding poultry keeper to my list I am discovering ways to store the fresh eggs. My girls gladly lay daily for us. There are different ways to keep fresh eggs. My favorite is freezing them because they can be frozen up to 1 year prepared in the following manner.
You can use frozen broken yolked eggs in many different ways and recipes. After being frozen they still maintain their fresh from the nest flavor. I've used them from baking cakes to breading chicken and everything in between.
For purposes familiar to a person who cooks, bakes or both, eggs may be frozen whole or separated. Just be sure to label how many whole eggs, yolks or whites there are inside each frozen cube. This can be adjusted to your specific needs.

Three ways to freeze:
Ice cube trays are the best to use for this.
1.) Whole with broken yolk: Empty egg in to each cube compartment. Break yolk and gently stir.
2.) Whites only: Add as many as you normally would use at one time in each cube compartment.
3.) Yolks only:  Same as for whites.
Add a pinch of sugar for sweet recipes or add a pinch of salt for savory recipes.
Mark and label each bag.

Even if you don't have laying hens, this is a good way to store eggs bought on sale!
